Principal Investigators and Lab Supervisors manage membership of their lab group using the OVPR/ORS Chematix database. That system is accessed via the following link: Chematix

After logging in with your UGA MyID and password, the following steps will take you to the interface for your lab.

1. On the red bar at the top of the Welcome page, click the "Resources" button.

2. On the Resource Management page, click the "View My Locations" link.

3. On the next page, click the link under the Laboratory column that represents your lab group (there will only be one for most users) e.g., "1023/199/abclab"

4. You should now be on the Laboratory Summary Page. Click the link at the bottom to "Manage Personnel".

5. On this page you add, remove, and change roles of your lab personnel.

    a) To add a user, click the "Search for Personnel to Assign" button, then on the search form, enter a MyID or name, click "Search," and use the "Select User" button to add them.

    b) To remove a user, un-check the box next to their name.

    c) Toggle Lab Supervisor status with the radio-buttons next to the user names.

    When Done, click the "Submit" button at the bottom of the page, then logout.
