SGI Altix 3700 (Altix)
Altix 3700The SGI Altix is a 16-CPU shared-memory system that uses Platform LSF as its queueing system. It is primarily used to run public-domain scientific software applications that require the Linux operating system.
IBM Cluster (pcluster)
The IBM p655 cluster (pcluster) is comprised of 32 8-CPU Power4 nodes, each with 16GB of RAM. The primary use of this cluster is for code (Fortran, C, etc.) compilation, but several public-domain scientific software packages are also installed.
Linux Cluster (rcluster)
The Linux cluster (rcluster) is comprised of compute nodes with single-, dual-, and quad-core processors from both Intel and AMD. The current collection of nodes were contributed by the Institute of Bioinformatics (IOB), the Statistics Department, and the RCC.
SAS Server
The AMD Opteron SAS server is a central resource for use by researchers as well as students who need access to the statistics software SAS for research use.
