RCC Awards First Assistance Grants
The new in-house granting program was established to help investigators cover the newly implemented CPU charge for use of the computer clusters. The charge of 11 cents/CPU hour was instituted to recover the fees the RCC pays annually for licenses and maintenance contracts.
Applications for RCC assistance are reviewed each month. Awards, in the form of CPU hours, are based on the nature of the research to be conducted. The application form can be accessed at: http://www.ovpr.uga.edu/iga/grants.
