RCC Launches New Login Interface On November 2nd

The new login menu is a component of the new billing system. Upon login, users will see a user-specific list of accounts approved to charged for research computing activities. Depending on the research to be conducted the user will select the appropriate account to bill. IOB members, Biofuels cluster users and RCC grant awardees have had their accounts pre-entered. All others are being added as the information is provided.

If an account is not available for a user, they will be instructed to contact Betsy Wenthe at 542-6632 to provide the billing account information. Once the information is in the system, the account will appear and users can complete their login.

New account management tools are available to permit primary investigators to see which users are assigned to their laboratory and assign account numbers on a user by user basis. Access by primary investigators to each of these sites is via UGA’s MyID. Users are also added with MyIDs.
